Emergency (After Hours)
If a tenant has a serious problem at a property whilst under City & County Residential Lettings management, they must telephone the emergency number provided in the tenancy pack which is handed to the tenant upon signing the tenancy agreement.
A detailed message is required, to include your name, contact number, the property address and the problem, for a representative from City & County Residential Lettings to assess the situation and call back. This number should only be called if the problem is of a very serious nature.
Decorating/changes to property
If a tenant wishes to make any permanent changes to a property, they must contact the office and wait for written consent, if it is granted.
Inspections
City & County Residential Lettings will write to a tenant to inform them of an inspection appointment - the tenant MUST be present for this appointment, if this can't be kept, the tenant MUST contact the office to re-arrange, because missed appointments are chargeable in accordance with the tenancy agreement.
Notice
If a tenant wishes to serve notice to terminate the tenancy, this must be served in writing on or before the rent due date at our office.
